Scott Smith is a shareholder in the Minneapolis law firm of Nilan Johnson Lewis, PA. Since graduating cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1979, Scott has represented corporations in complex commercial and toxic tort litigation.
Scott has served as local, regional and national counsel defending personal injury and consumer fraud actions involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, over-the-counter products, vaccines and veterinary biologics, and workplace and environmental exposures to hazardous substances.As national counsel representing a former manufacturer of lead pigment and lead paint in actions across the United States, Scott was trial counsel in the Rhode Island public nuisance case and numerous personal injury claims.
